Dermaplaning is an industry-loved customizable treatment – effective as a stand-alone treatment or the perfect add-on! Done safely and properly using stainless steel, surgical-grade tools this manual exfoliation technique can be added to your service menu with minimal investment. Demonstration and hands-on learning (attendees will work on each other) will follow a lecture theory overview describing: the science behind this treatment (solo and in combination with other treatments); how to spot contraindications in order to identify the right candidates; how to deliver a relaxing treatment that delivers refreshed skin – and how to confidently battle myths about shaving and vellus hair regrowth.

Join us on-site at Catherine Hinds Company for a full day of training from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please arrive on time at 10:00 am at our training location; 299 Washington Street, Woburn, MA 01801.

Attendees will attend a total of 6 hours of education with Catherine Hinds Company (lecture theory and hands-on practice). The training schedule is lecture theory, demonstration, and hands-on practical demonstration. 

The remaining 10 hours of required hands-on training will be completed independently. Proof of training is submitted via email with before & after photos within 45 days of the workshop. Certificates are awarded after completion of all 16 hours of education both on-site and independently. Further directions are provided for independent hands-on training within the seminar. The take-home practical kit consisting of 10 treatments is provided.

 By enrolling, attendees agree to serve as models and practitioners for the hands-on portion.

*Registration will be followed by an enrollment agreement that must be completed. After submitting the required forms back to Catherine Hinds Company the seminar details will be sent via email. It is imperative that you check your email after website registration. Enrollment must be completed within 5 Days of registering***

*If you are unable to receive this treatment due to a medical reason, it is your responsibility to inform the Director of Advanced Seminars in writing prior to the seminar. You are then responsible for providing your own model to work on during the hands-on portion. 

Catherine Hinds Company reserves the right to cancel/postpone a seminar anytime prior to the seminar date. Seminars are contingent on sufficient enrollment of attendees.
