Microneedling is a skincare treatment that creates a controlled injury to the stratum corneum that helps stimulate the body’s healing process promoting collagen & elastin synthesis. Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure using thin needles that allow deeper penetration of topical products and treat a variety of skin conditions. Catherine Hinds Company offers education on Microneedling within the scope of practice for a sole esthetician that is approved by the State Board of Massachusetts. Estheticians can offer Microneedling without a medical director when operating within approved scope of practice.

Seminar Details

This seminar provides in-depth quality education on Microneedling with the focus of qualifying the professional and protecting the client. The education is outlined for the licensed professional to understand basic to advanced education. We are proud to share that our education was developed by Dr. Larry Groop, allowing the opportunity to offer the most comprehensive Microneedling training available. This seminar entails focusing on appropriate protocols, anatomy, science, safe practice and more! Prior to the seminar online training is provided and is required to be completed by the seminar date. A two day seminar with Day-1 featuring lecture theory presentation, test & review, open discussion, and Q&A. Day-2 features a full day of hands-on training starting with a Instructor demonstration. Attendee’s will then be paired up to provide and receive the treatment followed by each attendee working on 3 additional models. Please be aware by registering you are agreeing to be a model.

Hands-On Training & Models

Attendees will serve as models and be required to work on each other. Attendees are responsible for securing 1-3 models for hands-on training for Day-2 at 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

All attendees & models be aware of the following skin contraindications to ensure you can receive Microneedling:

Skin with active acne, sunburn, windburn, currently on Accutane or recently off Accutane, pregnancy, breast feeding, facial laser treatment within recent weeks, facial waxing within recent weeks, and recent facial peels. Individuals with these contraindications will NOT be able to receive Microneedling. Refrain from using any BHA, AHA, and Retinol at least 1 week prior to class. Refrain from using active ingredients 1 week prior to seminar. Avoid Botox and filler injections at least 2 weeks prior to seminar. Avoid any advanced facial treatment minimum 2 weeks prior such as peels, enzyme, laser, waxing, etc.

No model’s under the age of 18.

Certificate will be awarded from and by Catherine Hinds Company . Website registration will be followed by an enrollment agreement that must be completed.

After submitting the required forms back to Catherine Hinds Company the seminar details will be sent via email. It is imperative that you check your email after website registration.

Catherine Hinds Company reserves the right to cancel/postpone a seminar anytime prior to the seminar date. Seminars are contingent on sufficient enrollment of attendees.
